SHAWL

Row 1: Ch 12, dtr in first ch, turn  Row 2: Ch 12, dtr in dtr of previous row, dtr in 6th chain of the group of 12 ch of previous row, ch 6, dtr in 6th chain of the group of 12 ch, turn

Row 3: Ch 12, dtr in first dtr of previous row, dtr in next dtr of previous row, ch 6, dtr crocheted in the same stitch as previous dtr, dtr in 6th chain of the group of 12 ch of previous row, ch 6, dtr in 6th chain of the group of 12 ch of previous row , turn


Row 4: Ch 12, dtr in first dtr of previous row, *dtr in next dtr of previous row, ch 6, dtr crocheted in the same stitch as previous dtr, Repeat from * one time. dtr in 6th chain of the group of 12 ch of previous row , ch6, dtr in 6th chain of the group of 12 ch , turn

Row 8-X: Continue working the same way the next rows until the shawl is 30 “ long, you will need to make 38 rows in total approximately. Note that you have to get two more triangles in each row

When you get the required length make an strands  for 1 knot of fringe together and fold in half. With crochet hook draw folded end edge of loops all around the shawl (starting through every loop rom one of the corners) as follows: sc, ch8


Make the fringe as follows:

1) Cut a piece of cardboard about 8" wide and 10” long. Wind yarn loosely around cardboard, cut across one end when card is filled. Repeat several times and then start fringing; you can wind more strands as you need them. Hold 4

 

HAT

Gauge 8 hdc and 5 rows = 1 inch

Row 1: Ch 6, join with sl stitch to form a ring. Ch 1, 6 sc in ring, (do not join.) Place marker in last sc of each round.

Row 2: 2 hdc in each sc (12 hdc).

Row 3: (1 hdc in next hdc, 2 hdc in next hdc) around (18 hdc).

Row 4: (1 hdc in each of next 2 hdc, 2 hdc in next hdc) around. (24 hdc)

Row 5: (1 hdc in each of next 3 hdc, 2 hdc in next hdc) around. (30 hdc)

Row 6: (1 hdc in each of next 4 hdc, 2 hdc in next hdc) around. (36 hdc)

Row 7: (1 hdc in each of next 5 hdc, 2 hdc in next hdc) around. (42 hdc)

Row 8: (1 hdc in each of next 6 hdc, 2 hdc in next hdc) around. (48 hdc)

Row 9: (1 hdc in each of next 7 hdc, 2 hdc in next hdc) around. (54 hdc)

Row 10: (1 hdc in each of next 8 hdc, 2 hdc in next hdc) around. (60 hdc)

Row 19: Ch4, *skip one st, dc in next st. (to form one cluster)  Repeat from * until end of row, join with sl st.

Row 20: Ch3, *skip next cluster of previous row, dc in next cluster, working around last st made, dc in skipped cluster.  Repeat * until end of row, join with sl st.



Row 21: same as row 19



Row 23: 1 hdc in each sc around, join with sl st


Row 24- 39: 1hdc in each hdc around, join with sl st.


Row 40: Ch 1, *sc in next st, ch 1, 2 hdc in the same stitch of sc, skip one stitch.  Repeat from * around, join with sl st, fasten off.
