For small size

Ch 160

Row 1-26: hdc in each st across, turn

Row 27-49: Ch2 (in place of first hdc), in the first 6 sts [(2 hdc crocheted together) 3 times], hdc in each hdc across except last 6 sts, at the end of row, [(2 hdc crocheted together) 3 times]. You will decrease 3 sts at the beginning of row and another 3 at the end of each row.

Row 50-53: Ch 2 (in place of first hdc), hdc in each hdc across, turn

Row 54-67: Ch2 (in place of first hdc), in the first 5 sts [(2 hdc in the same st) 5 times], hdc in each hdc across except last 5 sts, at the end of row, (2 hdc in the same st) 5 times]. You will increase 5 sts at the beginning of row and another 5 at the end of each row.

Row 68-93: Ch 2 (in place of first hdc), hdc in each hdc across, turn

 

For medium size:

Ch 170

Row 1-26: hdc in each st across, turn

Row 27-53: Ch2 (in place of first hdc), in the first 6 sts [(2 hdc crocheted together) 3 times], hdc in each hdc across except last 6 sts, at the end of row, [(2 hdc crocheted together) 3 times]. You will decrease 3 sts at the beginning of row and another 3 at the end of each row.

Row 54-59: Ch 2 (in place of first hdc), hdc in each hdc across, turn

Row 60-79: Ch2 (in place of first hdc), in the first 4 sts [(2 hdc in the same st) 4 times], hdc in each hdc across except last 4 sts, at the end of row, (2 hdc in the same st) 4 times]. You will increase 4 sts at the beginning of row and another 4 at the end of each row.

Row 80-105: Ch 2 (in place of first hdc), hdc in each hdc across, turn

 

Assembly: Sew the sides together. You can hand sew it using a large needle and your yarn, or you can use a sewing machine

 

TOP

Start working from point A (see diagram above)

Row 1: Ch3 (in place of first dc),*ch 2, skip 2 stitches of previous row, 1 dc in next st,. Repeat from * until you reach point B. count the number of squares, if it is an odd number, add one square more.

Row 2: Ch3 (in place of first dc),*ch 2, skip 2 stitches of previous row, 1 dc in next st,. Repeat from * until end of row. At the end: dc in top of ch3 of previous row

Row 3: ch 1, sl st in 3 sts across, sl st in next dc (to decrease one square), ch 3(counts as one dc), *ch2, sk next 2 sts, dc in next dc. Repeat from * until end of row (except last 3 sts), leave these 3 sts unworked (to decrease another square). You will decrease one square at the beginning and another at the end of each row.

Row 4-X: continue repeating row 3, decreasing one square at the beginning and another at the end of each row until you have 30 squares ( for medium size continue decreasing until you have 34 squares, for large size decrease until you have 38 squares).

Row X-36: repeat row 2. Don’t fasten off, continue making the cups.

CUPS

Starting from one of the sides(point A and B, see diagram above):

Row 1-22: ch (in place of first sc), 22 sc, turn.

Row 23: ch (in place of first sc, starting from point 1), sc in each sc accross, continue working sc over the other side of the square (see diagram below), until you reach point 2 , join with sl st to the body of the swimsuit

 

Row 24: sl st, sc in each sc accross, continue working sc over the other side of the square (see diagram below), until you reach point 2, join with sl st to the body of the swimsuit

Continue repeating row 23 for all odd rows and repeat row 24 for all even rows until you reach the center of the base of the cups (see diagram)

Make the other cup the same way.

For medium size:

Row 1-26: ch (in place of first sc), 26 sc, turn.

Row 27: ch (in place of first sc, starting from point 1), sc in each sc accross, continue working sc over the other side of the square (see diagram below), until you reach point 2, join with sl st to the body of the swimsuit

Row 28: sl st, sc in each sc accross, continue working sc over the other side of the square (see diagram below), until you reach point 2, join with sl st to the body of the swimsuit

Continue repeating row 27 for all odd rows and repeat row 28 for all even rows until you reach the center of the base of the cups (see diagram)

 

For large size:

Row 1-30: ch (in place of first sc), 30 sc, turn.

Row 31: ch (in place of first sc, starting from point 1), sc in each sc accross, continue working sc over the other side of the square (see diagram below), until you reach point 2, join with sl st to the body of the swimsuit

Row 32: sl st, sc in each sc accross, continue working sc over the other side of the square (see diagram below), until you reach point 2, join with sl st to the body of the swimsuit

Continue repeating row 31 for all odd rows and repeat row 28 for all even rows until you reach the center of the base of the cups (see diagram)

Finishing:

• Single crochet around the cups and the body of the swimsuit.

• Make two straps as follows: Make 130 chains. Slip stitch in 2nd chain from hook. Slip stitch in each chain across.

• Sew one strap to the top and one to the side of each cup.

• Single crochet over the elastic and around the legs holes, pull the elastic to fit your legs

• Sew the elastic together, smooth it out.
